Dreadful news to find on my screen via David Binch. I moved from Notts a year
ago to Norfolk but have been over to Rufford several times as the exhibitions
are so good to see and to buy from. It is a place of excellence. In my opinion
big changes must not to be imposed without consultation of the public, the potters and other interested parties,. Since the
Centre opened there has been a substantial increase in the number of visitors and those who buy pots there.
I suggest that you consider Lord Attenborough to front the Campaign: he and his wife have collected pots for very many years. He may not want a full commitment but he would be a good person to have on board even if not as the front man. He came from Leicester.
